Damien J. Johnson

Damien J. Johnson is an Ipswich-based Country/Folk/Blues artist whose music blends heartfelt storytelling with a deep connection to regional Australian life.
Drawing inspiration from his upbringing in Bundaberg, his 2025 single “One Hill Town” reached the Australian Top 40 Country Charts and secured a spot in the Top 30 on the Tasmanian music charts for three consecutive weeks.
He has shared the stage with Australian music icons James Blundell, Daryl Braithwaite, and David McCormack (Custard), and has been featured on ABC Country and ABC Local Radio. In 2025 Damien J. Johnson was a Grand-Finalist in the Australian Country Music Stars competition.
