Welcome to Protis Reviews. My name is Alan, and for an hour each week I will be showcasing the hottest releases from local artists in the Brisbane music scene, as well as those from interstate and overseas. I have been writing reviews of studio releases, be they singles or EPs, since June of 2024. I started reviewing live performances in September of 2024, and have been enjoying these immensely! My aim for this show is to see how it works in a radio format.
This week on "Protis Reviews" features an interview with emerging indie rock artist Emmara. Alan attended her recent gig at The Brightside in Fortitude Valley on the 5th of March, and was able to meet her as well! That encounter was much appreciated by both of them ahead of this, Emmara's first ever time on the airwaves!
