The newsroom is entirely volunteer based and provides Zedlines bulletins on the hour each weekday from 8-11AM, plus a dedicated one hour news and current-affairs program, Brisbane Line, from 12-1PM on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

INTERVIEW: Greens Senator Nick McKim on Robbins Island

Robbins Island is an important ecological site. It is home to 10,000 endemic species of bird including the critically endangered orange Bellied Parrot. An additional 20-30,000 migratory birds use it as a nesting site. It is also home to one of the last populations of disease free Tasmanian devils. 

However, the Federal Government has approved the construction of a 1.6 billion dollar wind farm which environmentalists and scientists believe will push vulnerable species further to the brink. The Greens Australia party have called for an expert-led consultation of projects like Robbins Island so that renewable projects don't have an adverse effect on biodiversity.
